Wow where do we even start. First thank you to God for giving us this club and the ability to participant in this outstanding sport. The club needs support to cover additional costs of housing four (4) teams to travel to Lake Hartwell last week of July. We are so thankful to have achieved this record success and need support for our sponsors to cover the trip this year.

#AuburnAnglers had one of the most successful fishing seasons this year since creation of the club in 2012. We had nine (9) boats qualified to fish the BASS NATION HS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. The #AuburnAglers won the 6-Man State Championship for 2022-23. For the individual boats Grooms/Galimore finished in 3^rd place and Doyce Beard/Cooper Rouse placed 12^th out of 204 boats.

The #AuburnAnglers will have four (4) boats traveling to the BASS HS National Tournament @ Lake Hartwell to represent Alabama this year. We had some boats double qualify to which is an outstanding achievement.

Seniors: Spencer Grooms and Hudson Galimore – State Champion 6-man and ABNHS State Individual (3^rd)

Juniors: Wilson Bennett and Lang Raughton – State Champion 6-man and East Alabama HS Angler of the Year

Sophomore: Doyce Beard and Cooper Rouse – ABNHS State Individual (12^th)

Freshman: Will Brantley and Johnson McGuire – State Champion 6-man
