About CCGC & Grow Ahead
Community Child Guidance Clinic (CCGC) is a nonprofit mental health agency and therapeutic day school serving children and families across Central Connecticut. Our Grow Ahead Gardening & Whole Child Wellness Program integrates hands-on gardening, nutrition education, and social-emotional learning to support mental health, resilience, and connection to nature. From planting seeds to harvesting vegetables, kids gain skills that nurture both body and mind—while growing a sense of pride, curiosity, and community.
