Help Us Reach $20,000 to sustain Kentucky's statewide volunteer stream sampling program

Kentucky Watershed Watch relies on community support and dedicated volunteers to monitor the health of our streams. With over 90,000 miles of waterways in Kentucky, and only a fraction of that monitored by government regulation, our citizen-led stream sampling and water quality monitoring program is essential for knowing whether its safe to play, swim, or fish in the creek. The good news? More than 200 volunteers monitor their local creeks every year! But we need to do more.

We need additional volunteer samplers, testing supplies, trainers, and support hubs. Your gift makes this possible—helping us coordinate volunteers, strengthen community partnerships, and improve communications so we can maximize our impact across Kentucky’s watersheds.

We have an ambitious—but necessary—goal: $20,000 by December 31. Every dollar directly supports volunteer training, water testing supplies, stream assessments, and the interpretation and communication of results that inform communities and protect Kentucky’s waterways for generations to come.
