Throughout the day, we'll share K-9 Chronicles: heartfelt stories of dogs' journeys to adoption, tales of those currently needing medical care, and updates on dogs who urgently need foster homes.

Right now, we’re facing the most challenging time in our history.

Shelters are at capacity. Dogs are being surrendered in heartbreaking numbers. We get several emails a day from people who are looking for someplace to surrender their dog. While some surrenders are unavoidable, many are simply due to changes in priorities, leaving these loyal companions with nowhere to go.

The Numbers are Crushing Us: This year, we've had 110 fewer adoptions than last year. One hundred and ten fewer lives welcomed into a loving home. With so many dogs waiting, every day this adoption drought continues is devastating to our ability to save the next one.

🙏 Don't Let the Doors Close

Several rescues in our area have already been forced to close their doors forever. The thought of that happening to us fills us with absolute dread. We cannot, we simply will not, let that happen to the dogs who depend on us.

We are powered by pure, burning dedication. We are 100% volunteer-run. There is no paid staff, no expensive fundraising company taking a cut. Every single dollar you entrust to us goes directly and immediately to the medical care, food, and safety of the dogs we save.
