The time to renew your Florida bar license is approaching. Please take a moment to reflect on your professional responsibility under The Florida Bar. Rule 4-6.1 of The Rules Regulating the Florida Bar calls on each of us to provide at least 20 hours of pro bono legal service or a contribution of at least $350 to a legal aid organization each year and report this as we renew our license annually.

If you have not already provided pro bono service this year, we ask that you consider sending your $350 contribution to Three Rivers Legal Services, Inc. (TRLS).

TRLS is a non-profit law firm, providing free legal representation and assistance for low-income individuals throughout 17 counties in North Florida. With offices in Gainesville, Jacksonville, Lake City, and Fernandina Beach, TRLS assists thousands of people each year on a variety of issues including housing, bankruptcy, consumer protection, family law matters, domestic violence, veterans’ benefits, driver's license reinstatement, sealing/expunging criminal records, probate, and estate planning.
