Hurricane Island Outward Bound is thrilled to announce an exciting event this fall to help raise funds for our scholarships and programming!

On September 29th, we’re bringing Mountainfilm on Tour to Portland, Maine, and we’re inviting you to join us for an afternoon of culturally rich, adventure-packed, and inspiring documentary films curated from the prestigious Mountainfilm festival, held in Telluride, Colorado for the past 40 years.

This dynamic event will feature the art of storytelling, alumni engagement, and a shared love for nature and the outdoors. Held at AURA in downtown Portland, the show will explore the themes of using the power of film, art, and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. Attendees will include alumni, outdoor enthusiasts, corporate partners, and community leaders.
