At Her Story, we're a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and protecting the mental wellness of adolescent girls. Through our programs and events, we guide teens on a journey of self-discovery, helping them build a strong, positive self-identity while learning how to navigate social media in healthier and more intentional ways.

Since our launch, we've had the privilege of engaging with over 350 teens who identify as girls, non-binary, or gender-expansive. Our impact has been felt across New York City, Los Angeles, and the surrounding areas, where we’ve hosted workshops that spark meaningful change. The feedback has been incredible, with 98% of teens reporting a greater understanding of how social media affects their mental health, and 97.5% feeling more equipped to create a positive, meaningful experience online.

Even more exciting, 21 days after completing the workshop, 80% of teens surveyed shared that they were still actively making changes to their social media habits—staying true to their commitment to building healthier, more meaningful connections.

Looking ahead, our vision is to expand our reach and become an essential part of a national network of organizations dedicated to teen mental wellness. Over the next two years, we’re focused on partnering with other teen-centered organizations to amplify our impact.
