Help Survivors Move from Crisis to Home

For survivors of domestic violence, leaving a shelter is only the beginning. A shortage of safe, affordable housing can leave women and children with nowhere stable to go, putting their long-term safety and security at risk.

Asian Women United of Minnesota (AWUM) and South Como Co-Op are creating A Partnership for Hope, a community-owned transitional home where survivors can heal, rebuild, and prepare for lasting independence. AWUM will provide culturally responsive advocacy, case management, safety planning, legal and immigration assistance, and children’s services—along with the time and support each family needs to move forward.

We are seeking $200,000 annually for five years to sustain the home, essential services, and dedicated staff. Your gift can help turn a temporary escape from violence into a safe home, a stable future, and renewed hope for survivors and their children.
