Last year I stood on the sidelines and watched as Trevor and a small band of dedicated supporters took this mission on. Not this year. No brother should be forgotten. No brother should be left to honor his friend alone. This year Security Halt! Podcast is fundraising and sharing this event because the names we carry are not just memories. They are promises. Promises made on teams, in trucks, on objectives, and in the quiet moments after, when we said out loud or just to ourselves that we would never let them be reduced to a date on a wall. Trevor took this on because that is what we do. We carry each other. But carrying alone wears a man down, and the weight of remembrance was never meant to sit on one set of shoulders.
