Haiti is in a crisis, but we have the opportunity to shed some light on the situation, here's how:

We can use our generosity to support families who are in need of food for their children
We can restart the Men Kontre (Helping Hands) Program this August with a gift of any size

In November of last year, we were disappointed that we had to share with the many families that we serve that we had to put a pause on the program.

We were able to be consistent since 2021 helping families of Camila who is 90 years old who no longer has the ability to work nor purchase food. She supports her great grand children who are not able to provide much resources for the household.

Men of their households also used to come to our food distributions monthly to get some support for their families. Duclervil is a widower with two children and a former carpenter. He is grateful for the opportunity to receive food and is looking forward to the program continuing.

Your gift today allows us to continue supporting families of Camila and Duclervil, especially in the midst of inflation and political turmoil. Inflation has impacted the purchase of food making things like vegetables and meat 2xs as high!

For many of us in the U.S. that would mean a difference from $13 of a decent sized pack of chicken to $26 for a few pieces.
