Our Blind Date With a Book fundraiser brings that magic to life — while supporting adult learners right here in our community.

Each basket includes a delicious charcuterie for two, a bottle of wine, a beautifully wrapped surprise book, and a few thoughtful extras to make the evening special. Whether you’re planning a cozy night in, a date night, or a gift for someone you love, these baskets are crafted with care by our staff and volunteers.

We’re also offering six date experiences hosted at Black Ribbon Books, our charming local bookstore. These in-store “dates” provide an intimate, bookish atmosphere where guests can enjoy their charcuterie, sip wine, and open their surprise book surrounded by shelves of stories. Space is limited, making each date-night experience truly special.

When you purchase a basket or reserve an in-store date, you’re doing more than treating yourself — you’re helping adults build confidence, skills, and new opportunities through literacy. Every purchase brings us closer to a community where everyone has the chance to read, learn, and thrive.
