At Spencer County Humane Society, we run on love, dedication, and a whole lot of fur. But no matter how much heart we put in, we still have those pesky things called bills and all the basics that keep us going. And unfortunately, they don’t accept "puppy-dog eyes" as payment!

Right now, we are 100% volunteer-run, doing everything we can to help the pets and people in and around Spencer County. But with no guaranteed funding, we rely entirely on donations to keep things running. While we’ll be applying for grants. (Paws crossed! 🤞), they’re tough to get, and the need for our services is growing every single day.

Donations allow us to keep programs affordable, ensuring that every pet gets the care they deserve, regardless of their owner’s financial situation.
