The Growth Project is a special initiative created by Miss UM 2024, Anna Katherine Bell. The Growth Project will be a beautiful daylily garden symbolizing strength, perseverance, and resilience. If you know anything about daylilies, you know they are among the toughest flowers, able to withstand even the harshest storms. What better representation of resilience for our students navigating some of the most challenging years of their lives?

For the past year, we’ve been working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this vision to life, and now, we’re just one step away from making it a reality. By April, this garden will be complete—but we need your help to make it happen!

You have the opportunity to be part of this meaningful project. You can purchase a daylily in honor or memory of someone in your life who has demonstrated incredible resilience—whether it’s a fellow student, a loved one, or a mentor.
