The Trans Halakha Project (THP) creates euphoric and celebratory opportunities for trans Jews to learn and explore their personal relationship to halakha (Jewish law and ritual).

With a donation of $5 or $5,000, you can help empower and nourish the trans Jews whose experiences are not yet at the center of halakhic exploration by helping THP:

Curate existing and developing resources that have been created for trans Jews, by trans Jews
Develop new halakhic literature that addresses the needs and experiences of trans Jews authentically and without reservation

In addition to investing in this important work, we invite you to join the Trans Halakha Project on Sunday, March 26, for a day of learning and celebration in honor of the publication of two resources created by members of the Trans Halakha Project: a series of teshuvot—halakhic Q&A’s—and Tefillat Trans—a compilation of blessings and rituals for sacred moments.

We'll learn from teshuva-writers and ritual-shapers about these practices and the processes that helped bring them to life. Together we’ll explore how halakha is expanded and revealed through our experiences and lives as trans and non-binary people.
