Youth Entrepreneur Institute (YEI) Smart Hustle program is thrilled to offer this all-expense-paid trip to our dedicated students.

Participants will enjoy workshops, park adventures, and bonding with fellow entrepreneurs. Secure your spot by paying the $50 reservation fee by September 6, 2024. Parent chaperones are also welcome, with options for full and subsidized tickets. We can't wait to embark on this magical journey together!

Student Pre-Departure Requirements:

Complete the interest form by August 22,2024.
Pay the $50 reservation fee by September 6, 2024, via Givebutter. (your here now)
Attend the pre-orientation session on September 13, 2024.
Complete their business or social enterprise activities in September, which include participating in two pop-up shops and launching their website.

ITINERARY :

A trip to Orlando, Florida that blends fun, excitement, and hands-on learning with a behind the scenes look at the business side of Disney. We will be participating in an educational program called Leadership the Disney Way on Saturday October 12. Participation in this workshop is mandatory. Students will have plenty of time to explore all of the parks. No wandering from the group while traveling. Students are free to explore the parks in their pre-designated groups as long as check-in times are met.

Thursday October 10, 2024

6:00 PM- Pre-departure dinner at Bard High School.
7:00 PM- Motor coach arrive at Bard for loading. Depart at 7 pm via motor coach to BWI airport. (1 hour drive.) 1351 Alabama Ave SE, Washington, DC 20735
9:39 PM- Flight departs and arrives in Orlando at 12:10 AM

Friday October 11, 2024

9 AM- Breakfast at the airbnb and then board the motor coaches.
10 AM- Spend the day experiencing the Magic Kingdom! Capture the enchantment of fairy tales with exciting entertainment, classic attractions and beloved Disney Characters with seven whimsical lands. Be sure to hit such attractions as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, and the classic It’s a Small World.
8:00 PM- Enjoy Disney Enchantment, a nighttime extravaganza that will take you on a journey to a world of wonder filled with friendship, love and fun. It features captivating Disney music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, USA!
9:00 PM- Transfer to the airbnb for the evening.

Saturday October 12, 2024

7:30 AM- Breakfast at the airbnb and then board the motor coaches.
8:30 AM- Transfer to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a morning of fun! Enjoy behind-the scenes glimpses of Hollywood-style action with live shows, and thrilling attractions. Highlights include the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Slinky Dog Dash, and Star Wars: Galaxy Edge.
1:15 PM- Meet at front of the park to head to EPCOT (via skyliner) for Imagination Campus Program (Time 2PM); Only students and YEI staff are allowed to participate in this program so parent chaperones are free to wander the park and explore the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, or go checkout Disney Springs!
5:00 PM - We will meet at the meetup spot in Epcot at 5pm. Be sure not to miss Soarin’, Mission: Space, and Test Track. The World Showcase is a collection of pavilions that wrap around the Lagoon. Inside find shops, attractions and restaurants that represent the culture and cuisine of 11 countries. Highlights include Norway’s Frozen Ever After and France’s Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
8:00 PM - Enjoy “Harmonious”: One of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park, it’s a sensational way to cap off your day at The World’s Most Magical Celebration!
9:30 PM -Transfer to the airbnb for the evening

Sunday October 13, 2024

8:30 AM- Breakfast at the airbnb and then board the motor coaches.
9:30 AM- Transfer to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a morning of fun! Walk into Disney’s Animal Kingdom, home to more than 1,700 animals from 250 species and sprawling across 500 acres of lush landscape, it is the largest animal-themed park in the world! Expedition Everest , Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King, and Avatar - Flight of Passage , are just a few of the attractions you don’t want to miss!
6:00 PM - Transfer to the airbnb for the evening.

Monday October 14, 2024

9:30 AM- Breakfast at the airbnb.
11:00 AM- Checkout is done automatically (at 11 am); We will pack our bags onto the passenger van to head to airport.
2:30 PM- Arrive back in DC (Bard High School) around 2 pm!
