Collaboration Fund

Collaboration is all about sharing - Sharing the joy and love of music-making and sharing to make Baltimore a safe, welcoming, and vibrant place!  It celebrates women musicians, women composers, women conductors, and women in need in the greater Baltimore area. What does that look like? 

• A Yearly Collaborative Festival:  This year, we are thrilled to announce our first Maryland Women's Choral Festival, featuring the Towson Women's Chorus - led by Diana Saez,  and the Washington Women's Chorus - led by Leona Lowery Fitzhugh!  We are excited about working with the top women's ensembles in the area and celebrating a diverse palate of music by and for women.  In years to come, we hope to expand this festival to include young high school women's groups and a guest conductor.  Stay tuned for more news!

• A Social Service Partnership:  We will give 10% of our collaborative fund earnings to a fellow non-profit chosen by Canticle Singers each year that lifts up underserved women and empowers them to move forward and succeed. Examples include House of Ruth, Women's Giving Circle, and My Sister's Place.
