Alistair Butzow's Story
I am fundraising for Deadlifts at the Dome because as a trans man, I love weight training and have been looking to compete in a space that would welcome athletes like me. I believe heavily in community spaces and with winter coming, housing is crucial to marginalized genders to survive in Colorado. Thank you for having me.

Deadlift at the Dome '25
<p>Join us at the Rainbow Dome in Denver, CO on Saturday, November 1st for <strong>Deadlifts at the Dome! </strong>More than an inclusive deadlift meet, Deadlifts at the Dome will also feature a vendor and resource market, drag performances, community-building, and more to create a one-of-a-kind celebration of strength, inclusion, and joy while raising funds for important causes. All our donations will be split evenly amongst three organizations working to connect, protect, and uplift the LGBTQ+ community in Denver. </p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>The Delores Project</strong></span> The Delores Project partners with women, transgender, and nonbinary individuals experiencing barriers to housing to identify their path to stability. By providing shelter, housing, and supportive services, The Delores Project works alongside individuals as they overcome barriers and challenges. In addition, The Delores Project community collaborates with other community leaders to ensure those who have experienced barriers to housing are represented on issues of public policy and community development. We are a queer-centric hub that gathers people across differences to experience joy-in-motion through art and activities. We are a community venue for roller skating, entertainment, and art. We are committed to helping all people across every spectrum of gender, ability, background, and beyond feel safe and supported in their pursuit of strength.
