Deaf Dome

Deaf Dome relies on the support of our DHHDB (Deaf/Hard of Hearing/DeafBlind) community and allies. As we create the structure necessary to address the critical lack of services for our community, we must also raise funds to pay for expenses - see below for more details. *

Over the past two decades, services crucial to our DHHDB community have been cut or consistently underfunded. Existing nonprofits and governmental entities, have been unable to meet even a small portion of those needs. Deaf Dome must be sustainable and strong. If you can spare a few dollars to put towards the cost of providing some of these services, you will be part of a network of people who recognize how much organizations like Deaf Dome are needed. 

* expense of designing and maintaining a stronger, functional website to make resources more accessible, costs incurred to provide free and low cost ASL classes, purchase of Zoom licenses to allow our board (who live all over Iowa) to meet regularly without transportation barriers, and other expenses that arise in the course of providing services to our community.
