The event includes a day of engaging educational workshops, a networking mixer, a silent auction, and a business pitch contest with investor judges. Our goal is to award several small and disadvantaged businesses with at least $50,000 worth of grants. The Dougherty Economic Empowerment Pool will arm business owners of all seasons with tools and resources to grow their businesses and propel themselves into the future of their respective industries. Expert speakers in areas concerning business capital, AI, grant opportunities, winning local & federal contracts, and more will provide guests with valuable insight and other resources to ensure success and sustainability.
