In May of 2022, Denny Tave passed away after a lifetime dedicated to the youth of Freehold, NJ as a teacher, coach, athletic director, youth group leader and summer camp director.   The Denny Tave Memorial Scholarship fund honors his legacy by continuing to inspire and create opportunties for students at Freehold Boro High School....his alma mater and place of work for over thirty years.

This scholarship recognizes students who embody Denny's exceptional qualities; they are well-rounded scholar-athletes who not only pursue personal success in their respective sport but also strive to enrich their community.
