There’s what people see… and then there’s what it really took to get here.

Deon’s Almost Famous didn’t start with a budget, a studio, or a big co-sign.
It started with a decision — to stop waiting and build something anyway.

We shot this in Warren, Youngstown, and Cleveland.
Out of pocket. Real locations. Real people. Real pressure.

Over 60 local creatives and students came together to make this happen. Not just to act or work — but to be part of something that doesn’t usually come through our city. Something we normally have to leave home to be part of.

We didn’t have everything we needed… but we had enough to start.

And it worked.

Now the show is streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Reveel, with over 30,000+ minutes watched and an 8.8 rating on IMDb. People are tapping in, sharing it, talking about it. It’s growing.

But if I’m being real…
this is just the foundation.

What The Show Is About

Deon’s Almost Famous is about what it really looks like to chase something bigger than where you come from.

It follows a group of young creatives trying to make a name for themselves while balancing real life — relationships, pressure, money, expectations, and the fear of not making it.

It’s not glamorized.

You see the wins, but you also see the doubt, the setbacks, the ego, the loyalty, and the moments where everything could fall apart.

It’s about being right there… but not fully on yet.

That space where you’re grinding, sacrificing, building — and trying to figure out if it’s all going to pay off.

That’s what “almost famous” really means.

Why We’re Raising Money

We proved we can do it.

Now it’s about doing it the right way but at the highest level.

This next phase is about:

leveling up production quality
paying people what they actually deserve
finishing the season strong
creating more opportunities for the same kind of talent that helped build this

Because right now, a lot of people are giving their time, their energy, their belief — and they deserve more than that.

What This Really Is

This isn’t just a show.

This is what it looks like when somebody from here decides to build something instead of waiting to be chosen.

It’s showing younger creatives that you don’t have to leave to start.
It’s showing that we can create our own platforms, our own stories, our own lane.
