Detroit is the birthplace of Techno. A genre that united generations across continents, from Michigan classrooms in the early 1980s to clubs in Berlin, Tokyo, and São Paulo today.

Detroit Techno Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit commissioning a permanent bronze monument to the four Black innovators who created the genre — Juan Atkins, Eddie Fowlkes, Derrick May, and Kevin Saunderson. Four bronze busts at Cadillac Square, in the civic center of the city that gave the world techno. A landmark you can walk up to, stand next to, and photograph, for generations.

Every dollar raised goes directly to the bronze casts, the plinth and site preparation at Cadillac Square, installation, and a long-term maintenance fund.

Every contribution is tax-deductible. Founding donors will be recognized on the monument site and invited to the unveiling.

Detroit made this music. It's time Detroit made it permanent.
