Hello! We're the Dunedin Highland Middle School Band Boosters Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of parents, teachers, and community volunteers who enthusiastically support the amazing band and dance programs at Dunedin Highland Middle School. DHMS, a Title I public school in Dunedin, Florida, is the only public middle school in the United States with a Scottish bagpipe band and Highland dance program. In addition to Scottish Arts, DHMS offers beginning band, advanced, concert band, jazz ensemble, rock band, and color guard. There are over 200 students enrolled in band and dance programs at DHMS!

The DHMS Band Boosters are committed to providing organizational and financial support to keep our music and dance programs thriving. We work closely with the Director of Bands to champion the educational goals of our band, dance, and Scottish arts programs. This season, our main fundraising goals are purchasing new kilt uniforms for our advanced pipe band and highland dance program (50+ students) and sending our advanced concert band (80+ students) to perform at the New Orleans Heritage Music Festival.

Our ultimate goal is to foster a community that values the arts, appreciates cultural heritage, and inspires a lifelong love of music and dance in our students.
