Dinomite SEL for Early Childhood Education

Every day, children experience big feelings they don’t yet have words for anger, worry, sadness, frustration, excitement. Too often those feelings come out as meltdowns, shutdowns, or behaviors adults label as “bad.” But the truth is, most children aren’t misbehaving they’re missing the tools to understand what’s happening inside of them.

That’s where our Dinomite Social Emotional Learning kits come in.

These playful dinosaur boxes give children simple, hands-on ways to:
• name their emotions
• practice calming strategies
• learn how to ask for help
• build confidence and kindness
• feel safe in their own big feelings

For a child who has never been taught how to calm their body, a single tool can change everything. A dinosaur breathing card can stop a meltdown. A feelings chart can help a quiet child finally say, “I’m scared.” A simple activity can help a parent and child reconnect after a hard day.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 so we can place these SEL kits into the hands of children, families, teachers, and caregivers across Oklahoma especially those facing trauma, instability, or limited access to mental health supports.
