DIY Robot Vibes
Thursday, November 9th, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST
A workshop led by Nina Barbuto and friends from Assemble to teach you how to make your own vibrator with body safe silicone for play (outside of the body). Sexual health is a form of self-care and robotics is there to help bring the good vibrations! This is a hands-on workshop where you will walk away with a vibrating goodie you created. Building your own hardware with soft and hard materials will give you insight to the process of how a robot is created while emphasizing the human component in the assembly line, the design, and use. We will be sharing the innovative intersection of personal pleasure, tech, and robotics, while also creating a safe space for you to show up for you (with us)! All materials are included in the ticket price. Light bites, wine, and mocktails will be served. The workshop will be held for women 21+ at Assemble in Garfield. Please be aware that by participating in our events, you are consenting to a media release. In consideration of the sensitive nature of this gathering, our photographer will respectfully prioritize capturing community interactions, hardware aspects, and non-explicit visuals.
