A Chocolate Heat Challenge for a Cause ๐ฅ๐ซ
This event and fundraiser is coordinated by Sweet Southern Gals Boutique, located at 45 N Congress Street in York, SC. As part of the festival, we’ve partnered with a pepper company and Bright Side Youth Ranch to host a fun, spicy fundraiser supporting local youth programs.
- Our goal is to raise $7,500—enough to fully sponsor 25 youth or provide partial sponsorships for even more.
-
If we raise $5,000 by 2:00 PM on February 8th, our amazing volunteers will take on the challenge of eating chocolate infused with one of the second hottest peppers in the world! ๐ถ๏ธ๐ซ
But that’s not all—if we hit our ultimate goal of $7,500 by 2:00 PM, they’ll up the ante by eating wings coated in a fiery sauce made from the same second-hottest pepper! ๐ฅ๐ (Meet us at The City Market, Covered Parking area to see how much we have raised and to watch our volunteers accept the challenge.
- Donations will help Bright Side Youth Ranch, which provides life-changing mentorship programs for children and teens.
- Our Amazing Volunteers are: Matt Hickey, Council Member District 1, Dale Edwards, Community Services Officer at York Police Department, and Mary Hunter, City of York Main St Business Liaison, Dr Dean Boyd, York Comprehensive High School Head Football Coach
Let’s turn up the heat and make a difference together!
