Giving Tuesday 2025 — Help Us Lift the Next Generation of Black & Brown Designers

For 20 years, Inneract Project has been fighting for one belief:
Black and Brown youth deserve real access to creative careers that build wealth, confidence, and leadership.

Today, that mission continues through Uplift, our digital platform helping young designers get portfolio reviews, mentorship, and career preparation from professionals at companies like Apple, Meta, Cisco, Dolby and more.

And they need us now more than ever.

• Design remains over 80% non–people of color.
• Creative jobs are harder to land, especially for first-generation students.
• Most of the young creatives we serve come from families who never had access to professional networks, internships, or industry mentors.

But Uplift is changing that—with real, measurable progress:

• 257 emerging Black and Brown designers have joined the platform so far
• 150+ one-on-one mentorship sessions completed
• Students are landing interviews, freelance work, and new roles with support from our community
• Mentees report major increases in confidence, clarity, and career direction

This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising funds to:

1. Support more students through mentorship
2. Bring on additional mentors from top tech and design teams
3. Continue building the Uplift platform so students can access real opportunities
4. Offer free career prep, portfolio support, and expanding resources into 2026
