Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity is a professional music fraternity that was founded in 1909 at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. It is dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of music and fostering a sense of community among musicians. Delta Omicron is gender inclusive and welcomes individuals pursuing careers in music, regardless of their specific instrument or area of expertise.

The fraternity provides a supportive network for musicians, offering opportunities for collaboration, professional development, and musical enrichment. Members of Delta Omicron engage in various activities such as recitals, concerts, and community service projects that showcase their musical talents and contribute to the cultural life of their communities.

We place a strong emphasis on scholarship, leadership, and musicianship. We seek to inspire our members to achieve high academic and artistic standards while also promoting leadership skills within the musical community. Through its chapters and initiatives, Delta Omicron plays a role in shaping the future of music education and performance.

Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity serves as a supportive and enriching organization for musicians, fostering a sense of camaraderie and excellence within the realm of music both during college and long after.

Money raised during the Annual Giving Campaign will go towards the operation of the fraternity, including but not limited to daily operations, archival storage, publication of the Wheel, scholarships, Triennial conference planning, and website and database operations.

to create and foster fellowship through music;
to give music students an opportunity to meet with one another and, by personal contact and exchange of ideas, to broaden the individual outlook;
to strengthen a devotion and loyalty to Alma Mater;

to encourage the highest possible scholastic attainment, excellence of individual performance, and appreciation of good music;
to give material aid to worthy students;
to manifest interest in young musicians entering the professional world.
