Filmmaker Scott Mactavish, a Navy veteran and director of the critically acclaimed film MURPH: The Protector, is producing a documentary on Drew’s life and legacy. Scott attended the Legacy Ruck and Roll while filming another project and felt compelled to tell Drew’s story. He works outside of the traditional Hollywood system to ensure American heroes’ stories are told with integrity.

Proceeds from the film will go to the Drew Ross Memorial Foundation in perpetuity. Scott is currently raising funds for the project. If you would like to be a part of it, you can give now!

Task Force Ross, A Green Beret's Story is a feature documentary based on the life of CPT Andrew "Drew" Ross, a Green Beret who gave his life for his country in 2018.The film follows Drew from his humble origins as a middle class soccer kid in Virginia to the halls of West Point to the Q Course to the battle fields of Afghanistan, told through stories from his family, friends and teammates. The title of the film was inspired by an annual training program at West Point named in honor of Drew. The film also profiles Drew's father Stephen, an Air Force veteran who uses woodworking to help active-duty service members, special operations forces and veterans affected by mild traumatic brain injury and other traumatic injuries.
