Looking for a fun, supportive way to build skills, confidence, and connection with your dog?

Sammie's Friends is excited to partner with expert behaviorist Leeron Liftik of Dog Nerds Behavior to offer a positive, reward-based training program right here at the Nevada County Animal Shelter.

This isn't just obedience training. Every skill is taught through modern, behaviorally informed methods that help dogs learn how to think, engage, and work alongside their people.

Participants will learn skills such as:
Reliable recall (come when called)
Loose leash walking
Focus around distractions
Polite greetings
Impulse control
Relaxation and settling skills
Crate confidence
And more!

What makes this program unique?

Before group classes begin, every dog-handler team receives a private orientation with Leeron. This individual session allows him to assess your dog's current skills, understand your goals, and set your team up for success before stepping into a group environment.

⏰Evening classes beginning at 5:45 pm and go to 6:45 pm

Pricing
• $30 per session (pay as you go)
• $130 for all 5 sessions (Orientation + 4 Group Classes) — save over 10%
