⚾💔 SWEET SENIOR WITH A BLADDER STONE THE SIZE OF A BASEBALL 💔⚾

DaisyMae is a senior dachshund mix who was surrendered to the shelter as a very sick girl. She hadn't had proper vet care for over 3 years. Luckily, we were able to get her out of the shelter and to our veterinarian right away. After several tests and x-rays, it was discovered that DaisyMae has a bladder stone the size of a baseball.

We can't even imagine how much pain DaisyMae must be in, and in addition to being sick, she was being kept outdoors. While our hearts break for her experience, this sweetheart will never be out in the cold again. She is already incredibly loved, and she's on medication to help her feel better until her surgery. She's excited to be able to come back in the house after going outside, and she's settling in well with her furry foster siblings. What a wonderful Christmas she'll have this year!

DaisyMae will have surgery on December 28th to remove the stone. She'll also be spayed and get a very badly needed dental done at the same time.

The estimate for the surgery is about $1200. Her visit on the 20th was $500. She will need additional care and follow-up bloodwork as well.

This is an unexpected expense, and we are already trying to raise money for Rosie's surgery.
