BFGM Domestic Violence Fund

Escaping domestic violence is one of the bravest decisions a person can make—but for many, it comes at the cost of safety, shelter, and financial security. Survivors often flee with nothing more than a bag, their children, and a will to survive.

Our Domestic Violence Fund offers fast, confidential assistance to survivors ready to leave abusive homes. Services we provide include:

• Emergency hotel stays and relocation support
• First-month rent and security deposits
• Emergency phone access, bus/train tickets, and Lyft rides
• Basic needs: clothing, diapers, hygiene products, and meals

In 2023, we helped 87 survivors escape unsafe environments and begin a new chapter in safety and hope. We’ve worked closely with women’s shelters, social workers, and legal advocates to ensure wraparound support.

With our current $10,000 goal, we aim to help at least 40 more survivors relocate, stabilize, and start over—free from fear.
