The International Design Clinic (IDC) is a nonprofit dedicated to realizing meaningful, creative work with communities in need around the world. Since 2006, we have partnered with communities to design and build solutions that respond directly to local challenges—using available resources, honoring local knowledge, and fostering long-term ownership.

We believe that the world’s most urgent needs—access to shelter, water, education, and opportunity—require more than short-term aid. They require thoughtful, adaptable solutions that communities can sustain and evolve over time.
