RAC not only supports our community with arts programming, but offers a destination for art-loving visitors to Riverside’s downtown. In 2025 we grew our arts programming by 250% serving 5,000 visitors. We are proud to share with you highlights from 2025, thanks to your support.
EXHIBITIONS 2025
Our Exhibitions, Art Openings and Artist Talks are always free and open to the public.
19 free Exhibitions
30 free Art Openings, Artist Talks and Workshops, including Terrain Biennial and Creativity Fest
184 Artists exhibited (94 adult artists, 35 students and 55 community members)
6 Riverside Residents solo exhibitions in 2025: Alexa Chmura, Brian Dettmer, Matthew Katz, Melissa Potter, Erika Vazzana and Anthony Vizzari
ARTS EDUCATION 2025

A free weekly Open Arts studio (open to all) called Art Jam Tuesday
An ongoing Senior Art Club and afterschool art classes at Central Elementary in collaboration with Riverside Parks & Recreation

Provided professional development to almost 200 artists
Employed 5 local teens as Teaching Assistants plus 1 Ceramics apprenticeship
Exhibited artworks by 21 Riverside-Brookfield High School AP Art students
Led free arts activities for all at Holiday Stroll, Farmer’s Market, Climate Event at Riverside Metra stop, 4th of July and at Riverside Arts Weekend for RAW
