Carpe Mundi expands access to transformational global learning for students who have historically been excluded from these opportunities. We support low-income students from the Portland area as they prepare for international travel, engage in immersive and ethical experiences abroad, and return home ready to reflect, lead, and give back to their communities.

Our work centers on building confidence, community, and practical skills before students travel; supporting them through meaningful, relationship-based learning while abroad; and walking alongside them after they return as they process their experiences and translate global learning into local impact. By investing in students throughout their journey, not just at the moment of travel, we help cultivate globally-minded leaders who carry curiosity, empathy, and purpose into their futures.
