Edna Brewer Middle School is an Oakland Unified School District public middle school in Oakland and serves almost 800 students from all parts of our city. We are an inclusive school community where social and emotional learning are prioritized. Proudly, Edna Brewer is one of the most diverse schools in Oakland, with students from every corner of the city representing many different cultural backgrounds.
The Edna Brewer PTSA partners with faculty, staff, and families to help every student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Through community-building events, classroom and field trip support, family engagement, and clear communication, we work to create a welcoming school culture where all students feel connected and supported. The PTSA also helps provide academic enrichment, student wellness support, classroom resources, campus activities, and fundraising that expands opportunities for students and teachers alike—allowing educators to focus on delivering an outstanding educational experience for every Brewer student.
