Challenging a corporation like Casella in order to stop a construction project is always a lengthy process, and one that incurs extensive costs for experts such as lawyers, engineers, and environmental scientists. NCABC staff are 100% non-paid volunteers. 

Your donations are used to hire attorneys, professional firms and subject matter experts. We liaise with the community to state agencies such as DES, DOT, local and state legislators. Our experts review landfill permit applications, studies and agency meetings to fact-check and professionally critique and challenge inaccuracies with the goal of stopping this project.
