The Hopewell Museum holds in trust the material record of Hopewell Valley: correspondence, tools, photographs, and the everyday objects of a community across centuries of change. Nearly 13,000 artifacts remain ours to preserve and to share with those who come after us.

Preservation. The ongoing work of cataloging and conserving our full collection, using best-in-class preservation techniques suited to each kind of object, from archival documents to textiles.
Exhibitions: A changing rotation of exciting exhibits drawn from our collection, many on view for the first time, bringing Hopewell Valley's history into public view.
Research: Free public access to our vast historical archive, for genealogists, scholars, students, and anyone tracing their own connection to this community.
Events and Programming: Interactive, hands-on educational programming for Hopewell Valley residents and students, offered throughout the year.

It is an obligation each generation takes up on behalf of the next, and it has always depended on individuals who understand that history, once lost, cannot be recovered.
