Launchpad was founded in 2021 to help young people in Philadelphia step into high-paying, meaningful tech careers. We focus on students from underrepresented communities, especially Black youth, who are often left out of the growing tech economy.

Our model has three connected phases. In Foundations, 11th graders explore careers and begin learning to code. In Launchpad 101, seniors learn Python and , build technical and professional skills, and complete a paid internship. In LiftOff, graduates continue with advanced training, industry certifications, and direct job placement support.

We measure success in outcomes that change lives: high school graduation, college credit or a Python certification, paid work experience, and jobs starting at $50,000 or more.
