Campaign for Oxford is our biggest and most important fundraiser of the year! It is our direct ask fundraiser for the Oxford Fund, the PTA’s general fund that supports many enrichment and extracurricular programs at Oxford. Each fall, we ask families for direct contributions to the Oxford Fund to help meet our annual fundraising goal.

Each year’s fundraising supports PTA’s programming and activities for the next school year. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we met our fundraising goal last year, and we are counting on your help to get us there again.

Our 2024-2025 yearly goal is to raise $110,000, or $440 a student. Just think, a recurring donation of $36 a month is all it takes. If you are able to give, all Oxford students will benefit—no contribution is too small, and every dollar makes a difference! Donations are tax deductible and eligible for company matching programs.

In addition to the Campaign for Oxford, we will have other fundraisers throughout the year to make sure we reach this goal including our beloved Read-A-Thon later this Fall and an auction and raffle in the Spring (if needed).

In addition to providing essential funding, the Oxford Elementary School's Parent Teacher Association (PTA) aims to create a cohesive and supportive community.

As an organizing and community building force, the PTA:

Holds monthly PTA meetings and regular coffees with the principal
Prepares welcome materials and activities for new families
Hosts community events (Welcome Community Picnic, Harvest Fair, Otterpalooza, Math Game Night, Winter Dance, and more)
Organizes teacher and staff appreciation events
Organizes and guides Classroom Parent/Caregivers
Supports community activities (Green Committee, Beautification Days)
Organizes fundraising initiatives (Annual Fund, Read-a-thon, Shop events etc)
Facilitates communication including our website and manages our opt in directory
