For nearly four decades, CAST has been at the heart of the Manchester, CT and Greater Manchester community, nurturing young talent and preserving the magic of theatre. What started as a small children’s theatre group, meeting in the home of Co-Founder Donna Mercier, has since blossomed into a vibrant, full-scale regional theatre. CAST's growth has been nothing short of extraordinary—starting with summer musicals in local schools and now offering year-round productions and classes for children.

Today, CAST operates out of its own dedicated facility on Summit Street, becoming a creative hub for over 15 communities. With participants aged 5 to 18, CAST fosters an inclusive environment where young performers, technicians, and artists come together to explore their creativity, gain confidence, and develop lifelong skills in the performing arts.

But this journey hasn’t been possible without the generosity of supporters like you.

Why We Need Your Help

CAST is committed to offering high-quality productions and educational programs that are accessible to all, regardless of financial background. However, maintaining our theater space, producing shows, and offering scholarships requires funding beyond ticket sales and tuition fees.

With your donation, CAST can continue to:

Provide scholarships and financial assistance to families who might not otherwise afford the opportunity
Maintain and upgrade our theater facility to improve our aging facility and upgrade essential equipment
Purchase costumes, sets and props to create unforgettable performances
Expand our programming, bringing even more diverse and exciting productions and educational opportunities to our communities
Offer classes and workshops that teach kids not just about theater, but about life skills, teamwork, and creativity that they can carry with them far beyond the stage.
Help us plan for our future including but not limited to launching our Capital Campaign for our "Impossible Theatre"; our own 500-600 seat theatre and setting the stage for the future of CAST.
