We’re launching a city-based storytelling and leadership initiative that puts the mic, the camera, and the narrative back in their hands. Through intentional mentorship, creative skill-building, and public campaigns, we’ll help students transform lived experience into visibility, dignity, and power.

This work is powered by Don’t Sleep On Chicago Kids (DSOCK)—a youth-centered movement that amplifies voice, confidence, and community through the lens of those often left out of the conversation.

This initiative is rooted in equity, youth development, and narrative justice, and it’s designed as a school-based model that reaches far beyond inspiration. Every phase is structured, measurable, and built to grow.

But at its core, it’s still this simple:

When young people are trusted with their own story, they begin to rewrite everything.
