While this campaign began during my birthday on June 24 and National Pollinator Week, its purpose is much bigger. It is part of The Pollinators Foundation's mid-year operational fundraising campaign to help sustain our work throughout the year.

As a small nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of individuals like you to make our work possible. Your support helps fund year-round community wellness and social healing programs, including Mindful Movement Qigong, therapeutic expressive arts workshops, and creative mindfulness classes, nature-based healing experiences, mental health education, Compassion Circles, and community outreach.

Your support helps ensure these programs remain accessible to everyone—especially those facing financial barriers, grief, loneliness, caregiving responsibilities, trauma, or mental health challenges.

Thanks to the generosity of our board members, volunteers, and community supporters, we have already secured $4,250 in matching gifts.

Our goal is to raise an additional $5,000 by July 5, 2026. Every dollar donated, up to the first $4,250, will be matched dollar for dollar—doubling your impact and helping us continue creating spaces where people can heal, connect, and belong.

Double The Impact. Your Gift Makes a Difference

Every gift helps ensure that healing, connection, and belonging remain accessible to all—especially for those facing financial barriers, grief, loneliness, caregiving responsibilities, trauma, or mental health challenges.

🌱 $26 supports one participant facing financial barriers with creative materials, nourishment, and/or mindful movement.

🐝 $52 helps two people experiencing grief, loneliness, stress, caregiving challenges, or financial hardship access a healing program.

🌻 $104 expands access for four community members who might otherwise be unable to participate.

🌳 $260 brings healing, creativity, and connection to approximately 15 older adults through a community healing workshop.

💛 $520 supports a healing experience serving caregivers, older adults, trauma survivors, and individuals navigating mental health challenges.

🌼 $1,040 supports a season of community wellness programming, ensuring healing and belonging remain accessible to all, regardless of income.

🦋 $2,600 sponsors a Creative Healing Retreat serving caregivers, caregiving professionals, grief and trauma survivors, and people navigating mental health challenges.

Community Impact

In 2025, The Pollinators Foundation touched the lives of more than 2,400 people across Haywood County and Western North Carolina through 190 trauma-informed classes, workshops, and healing experiences.

These numbers represent people finding a place to breathe, move, create, grieve, reconnect, and feel less alone.

Healing with Community: A Participant's Experience

"I participated in a grief workshop at The Healing Hive that was beautifully planned and artfully facilitated.

We were a small group of women, each navigating the loss of a child and our own healing journeys. Together, we shared our stories, practiced Qigong, created art, cried, laughed, listened, and held one another in a circle of safety and compassion.

I left with new insights, questions to ponder, and a quiet joy from having co-created a space that gently opened another layer of healing for my broken heart.
