Diaspora Peoples Place built a free Community Events Calendar on our website, gathering markets, film screenings, Get Greater LA’s diaspora events calendar in your inbox.

Markets, film screenings, poetry nights, family days and organizing meetings. They’re all in one place on our free Community Events Calendar, and monthly supporters get it delivered every two weeks.

Why we’re asking
Right now, whether you hear about a gathering depends on an algorithm. Monthly support lessens our reliance on social media platforms and moves us toward spaces where we can maintain our independence. It also keeps the calendar free to browse, and free for anyone to post their event.

What your gift does
