CASA/Prince George's County: "Change A Child's Story"

I ask for your support in raising $25,000 during our spring appeal campaign, beginning in April, Child Abuse Prevention and Volunteer Appreciation Month, and ending in June to assist us in supporting more Prince George's County youth experiencing foster care.

CASA/Prince George’s County supports more than 100 trained CASA volunteer advocates to support children, youth and their families who experience foster care. In Prince George’s County, there are more than 500 youth in foster care. CASA serves about 200 youth per year through advocacy and resources.

Our goal is to “to continue expansion efforts until all children who have suffered from abuse and neglect and live in foster care in Prince George’s County are matched with CASA volunteers to help them navigate their experience in foster care until they are placed in safe, nurturing and permanent homes.
