I have chosen to support the Golden Valley HS Theatre & Film Club after meeting Amber and learning about her program when she applied for an MCEF grant. Choir and Theatre was a place of importance for me in high school and still is for many students today thanks to teachers like Amber. In her program she takes it beyond the classroom for an amazing industry trip to show students what’s next and how to turn the arts into a career. She works hard to secure grants to send more and more students each year but funding is also needed for each year’s shows and lessons and I’m excited to support that for the program and students.
