Does my baby qualify for BabySat® (Prescription Device)

 **The BabySat® monitoring system is a prescription intended for babies aged 1-18 months and between 6-30 lbs who could benefit from additional monitoring at home, under the supervision of a physician due to ongoing medical needs. Indications for BabySat often include babies with underlying Cardiac or Respiratory conditions.  

If these or similar medical issues are relevant to your baby, you may request a prescription from your healthcare provider. Learn more here. 

Owlet Dream Sock Program Eligibility Requirements

To apply for an Owlet Dream Sock through the Briggs & Barrett Project, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• You are not financially able to purchase a Dream Sock on your own.

• Your infant is 4 months old or younger.

  • To allow families the maximum benefit from the device, we encourage applying when your baby is under 4 months old. If possible, please apply within 3 months of your due date.

• You reside within the United States.

• The parent or legal guardian must submit the application. (We cannot accept applications from extended family members or friends.)

• You have not previously received a donation from the Briggs & Barrett Project.

Application Review Process

Please allow 4–6 weeks for your application to be reviewed. Applications are evaluated monthly by our volunteer team.

You will be notified within 4–6 weeks regarding your application status.

Out of respect for our volunteers’ time, we kindly ask that you do not contact us for application status updates, as we are unable to respond to those inquiries.
