Service in Unity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Tompkins County community. Our mission is to connect local organizations with individuals in recovery, fostering mutual benefit and strengthening our shared community.

Since our first successful connection in February 2024, we’ve facilitated many more partnerships with local organizations and provided part-time employment to individuals from the recovery community. These partnerships not only benefit the organizations involved but also empower our team members with a sense of purpose and belonging.

One such success story involves a local nonprofit, where just two hours of facilities work per month have made a tangible difference. This small act of support has eased the load for their dedicated staff while fostering pride and connection within our team.
