A Nationwide Push for Youth Tire Safety in 2026
In 2026, Road Ready will take its tire-safety mission across the United States. The foundation is booked
for school visits, youth programs, driver’s education classes, safety conferences and community events
from coast to coast. The goal is simple: reach teens early, teach families the warning signs and make tire
safety as instinctive as buckling a seatbelt.
Every year, over 40,000 people die on America’s roads and more than 700 of those deaths involve unsafe or
worn-out tires. Road Ready’s focus is built around prevention—meeting young drivers where they are
and giving them hands-on skills that can save lives.
Alex often says the foundation exists for one reason: “No more families should suffer because of
something so preventable.” Every kit, classroom visit and community program honors Jackson’s legacy
while helping protect someone else’s child.
Where Donations Go
For Giving Tuesday, Road Ready is offering clear, tangible ways for people to support the mission:
• Teen tire-safety education: Hands-on tools that teach teens how to inspect tires before they drive
• Classroom and community programs: Bringing tire safety into schools and youth events
• Parent awareness: Helping families understand that tread and inflation levels are as critical as
distracted-driving prevention
• Advocacy and standards: Pushing for safer tread standards through partners including the Safe Tread
Alliance
• Honoring Jackson’s legacy: Ensuring his story protects other young drivers
Giving Tuesday Donation Options
• $20 to equip a teen driver: Funds a tire-safety kit that could prevent a crash
