What is Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday, often stylized as #GivingTuesday, is a global movement that takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. This day marks the beginning of the charitable season, emphasizing the spirit of generosity and giving back to the community. On this day, people are urged to contribute to charitable causes, donate to nonprofits, support local initiatives, and engage in acts of kindness. It's not just about monetary donations; Giving Tuesday is a celebration of compassion, volunteerism, and making a positive impact. Joining Giving Tuesday isn't just about the amount given; it's about the shared commitment to making a difference, one act of kindness at a time. It's a day that transcends borders, cultures, and backgrounds, emphasizing the universal value of generosity and the profound impact it can have on individuals and communities. Our Cause: This year for Giving Tuesday, we are fundraising to help build more ADA certified wheelchair ramps for seniors, veterans and individuals with disabilities through our ramp building initiative “Operation: Ramp-Up”. Since the start of this initiative, in June of 2023, we have been able to build 11 wheelchair ramps for members of our community who’s daily challenge was accessing their homes. We believe that everyone should possess the ability to access their homes freely. It is also our belief that when we all come together as a community, we are able to meet the needs of those who are facing such challenges, which is why we are asking that you partner with us this Giving Tuesday by donating to our “Operation: Ramp-Up” Initiative. When you purchase a ticket it represents a donation in that ticket amount (NO PHYSICAL EVENT WILL BE HELD). Your donations will allow us to build more ramps and give the gift of freedom to those who are suffering with mobility issues.
